Many people describe the taste as smooth, earthy, grassy with a hint of nuttiness. Essential Hemps Gold Seed Oil has a lighter more neutral flavour than regular Hemp Seed oil it still has a lovely hempy flavour, but it is much milder. Essential Hemp also offer their Hemp oils infused with a choice of chilli, lemon, lime or garlic they are all delicious!
How to use Hemp oil
It is recommended to use hemp oil in low temperature recipes because heat will change the properties of the oil causing it to lose nutrients. Hemp oil will smoke at a low temperature compared to cooking oils and so it is best enjoyed in dressings, dips or drizzled on top of pastas, salads, curries and stir fries for some extra goodness and to add its special flavour.
