These trays were designed particularly for people who dry meats and other food in which a through cleaning and disinfecting of the trays are needed. They stand up to high temperatures and heavy cleaning and can be placed into the dishwasher or steam cleaned. They are made from the same high grade stainless steel we use in our commercial dehydrators.
The tray is constructed with 100% 304 stainless steel 1/4 inch square mesh so no polyscreens are needed.

** NOTE ** Food may stick to the Stainless Steel Tray. We suggest: placing an Excalibur Paraflexx sheet under the meat and on top of the steel tray. Paraflexx sheets sold separately.
