Cashew Cinnamon Maple Nut Mylk
Description
This easy, peasy and creamy Cashew Cinnamon Maple Nut Mylk is unlike any udder mylk. With a creamy cashew base, maple syrup for sweetness and added cinnamon for a subtle kick, this baby is here to take your morning oats, smoothies and sweet recipes to the next level.
Ingredients
- J8228 Omega Juicer
- 1 cup Live Wholefoods Organic Activated Cashews (soaked overnight in water & then strained & rinsed)
- 4 cups filtered water
- 1 tsp Very Vanilla Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp Gourmet Ground Cinnamon
- 2-4 tbsp Spiral Organic Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Wonder Foods Sunflower Lecithin (this is optional, but will help to bind the milk and stop it from separating)
Preparation method
- Using a juicing screen in the Omega Juicer, place cashews and water through juicer
- Add more water if necessary
- Stir in maple, vanilla, cinnamon, sunflower lecithin, and sea salt
- You can taste mixture to check if it’s sweet (or savoury) enough for you, adding more ingredients if needed
- Store in a sealed jar in the fridge
- You can also add raw cacao and make a healthy chocolate milk version.
- This milk will keep for 4-5 days but if you have extra, it can always be stored in the freezer. We love to pop the extra into ice cube trays and pop them into smoothies.
